D²4H presented its innovative product Vitogram® at InnoCarnival 2024
Our Lead Scientist, Professor Joshua Ho, and his team have been showcasing at the InnoCarnival 2024 organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission at Hong Kong Science Park. Professor Ho had the opportunity to present the award-winning product Vitogram to Professor Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, alongside other participants.

Seminar: Drugs, Vaccines and Coexistence: Toward a Comprehensive Understanding of Population Dynamics in Streptococcus Pneumoniae under Selection by Humans
On November 1, 2024, Professor Marc Lipsitch from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health presented his work on streptococcus pneumoniae, exploring its evolution under human-driven selection with the ultimate goal of improving vaccine design and predicting the impacts of vaccine rollout. He also discussed the related issue of how antimicrobial resistance in this species evolves under the pressure of antibiotic use.

The Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health Limited (D²4H) and the School of Public Health, The University of Hong Kong will co-organise a seminar on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), one of the major health threats worldwide, on October 25, 2024 (Friday), featuring Dr Catrin Moore from St George’s, University of London and a D²4H’s researcher Dr Pei Yu Huang.
