The Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health Limited (D²4H) and the School of Public Health, The University of Hong Kong will co-organise a seminar on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), one of the major health threats worldwide, on October 25, 2024 (Friday), featuring Dr Catrin Moore from St George’s, University of London and a D²4H’s researcher Dr Pei Yu Huang.

Press Conference: HKUMed develops medical-grade smartphone stethoscope to support valvular heart disease detection
In a HKUMed press conference today, our Managing Director – Professor Joseph Wu and Lead Scientist – Professor Joshua Ho, demonstrated to the press how Vitogram, an invention of the D²4H, enables the detection of valvular heart disease with an estimated accuracy of 81% – a level comparable to a doctor’s assessment using a stethoscope.
