As esteemed experts in the field of biotechnology, two experts from the Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health (D²4H) were invited to be panellists at the Biotechnology Innovation Forum organised by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks on December 18, 2023.

In the panel discussion titled “System and Openness”, Professor Joseph Wu, Managing Director of the D²4H, provided insights into system connectivity, sensitivity classification of health data, and the privacy-reserved analytical platform for the public.

Furthermore, Dr Carlos Wong, Senior Research Director of the D²4H, spoke on the panel on “Technology Adoption to Recognize the Value of Innovations”, sharing successful strategies from other countries that expedite technology adoption.

The Forum brought together industry leaders, policymakers and experts to discuss the latest advancements, challenges and solutions in Hong Kong’s biotechnology sector.
